Pricing

Each Tutoring Session is $60.00 USD per hour, plus tax as applicable. This price includes all the preparation time required for tutoring and planning courses of study.

While we always cooperate with your child’s teachers and educational coaches, we will additionally be happy to meet in person or online with your teachers, coaches, schools, and guidance counselors for the same rate of pay as a tutoring session.

Diagnostic Testing is also $60.00 per hour in person and costs the same as a one-hour session if we send the test with you and then evaluate the results outside of a session. Diagnostic testing takes time to prepare and evaluate, followed by developing and evaluating plans of action that will most efficiently benefit the student.

We work with the State of Florida as approved part-time tutors, so we can help your student while you use your Florida Tax Credit Scholarship or Florida Family Empowerment Scholarship through Step Up for Students.

Stephanie Beckett is a K-12 Teacher whose original certification and teacher education was in Secondary Social Studies (Grades 5-12), followed by a Master of Arts in Teaching, Elementary Education (Grades K -6). A National Winner of the 1988 Parade Magazine Essay Contest, she excels in Writing and Composition. The well-roundedness of her scholarship is supported by her lifetime, invitation-only Membership in The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi: established in 1897 to recognize and encourage superior scholarship without restriction as to area of study and promote “the unity and democracy of education.” She teaches any and all subjects K-10 including group Classes for various venues: most recently Reading and Writing (SWR) at the Elementary Level; Apologia General Science (7th Gr.) with Lab Experiments; and for the 2021-2022 School Year: Middle and High School Composition (IEW) for various private Homeschool Groups.

Kirk Beckett has an Electrical Engineering Degree and specializes in tutoring Math of all levels from Algebra and Geometry to Physics and Calculus, plus anything else that relates to STEM – and even perhaps a little Military History. He holds a Master’s Degree in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College.
