Beckett Tutoring: We are a family that is here for all of your Tutoring Needs.  We Tutor any subject from Preschool to College Level Courses, and participate in the New Worlds Reading Scholarship Program, Step Up For Students.

Stephanie Beckett is a K-12 Teacher whose original certification and teacher education was in Secondary Social Studies (Grades 5-12), followed by a Master of Arts in Teaching, Elementary Education (Grades K -6). She delights in empowering all students to reach their full potentials. Learning is best when it is fun, developmentally appropriate, and well pre-planned.

A National Winner of the 1988 Parade Magazine Essay Contest, she excels in Writing and Composition. The well-roundedness of her scholarship is supported by her lifetime, invitation-only Membership in The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi: established in 1897 to recognize and encourage superior scholarship without restriction as to area of study and promote “the unity and democracy of education.” She tutors any and all subjects K-10 and most subjects for 11th and 12th Grades and early College Composition and Algebra. These subjects include everything from elementary reading and math to Chemistry, Reading, Writing, World History, American History, Algebra, Physical Science, and Biology. Ms. Stephanie also teaches group Classes at various venues. Most recently, she has been leading the following courses in group settings: Personal Finance and Life Skills (Home Economics) courses for Middle and High School students; Reading and Writing (SWR) at the Elementary Level; Apologia General Science (7th Gr.) with Lab Experiments; Middle and High School Composition (IEW); and Economics for various private Homeschool Groups and Keys Educational in Jacksonville.

Kirk Beckett has an Electrical Engineering Degree and specializes in tutoring Math of all levels from Algebra and Geometry to Physics and Calculus, plus anything else that relates to STEM – and even perhaps a little Military History. He holds a Master’s Degree in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College.

Christopher Beckett is an excellent, well-rounded student who maintains a 4.0/4.0 GPA as a college sophomore. He also previously completed 19 Dual-Enrollment College Credits with a 4.0/4.0 GPA by the end of High School, so he understands the demands of college preparatory, High School, and Dual-Enrollment classes. He prefers Computer Science, Math, History, and Writing. He tutors all subjects he has aced.
